John along with his wife, Christine Blaisdell Bolton, have been residents of the Village of North Syracuse for 23 years; all of which has been spent living on Coolidge Road. John retired from The Home Depot in 2021 after 20 years as a District Merchandizing Manager covering stores in central and upstate New York. In John’s spare time he enjoys working outdoors maintaining his yard with beautiful flowers and shrubs. The Bolton’s have a love for birds and like watching them enjoy the numerous feeders they have. John has 5 children and 14 grandchildren that help to keep him active and on the go. He enjoys traveling to New England and having the best seafood available. This is his opinion, of course.
A message from John:
Together, we can continue building a stronger Village of North Syracuse by enhancing the services, infrastructure, and quality of life our residents deserve—while remaining committed to fiscal responsibility.
Every taxpayer dollar should be spent wisely. That means making smart financial decisions through competitive purchasing, pursuing grants, utilizing New York State contracts, taking advantage of county programs, and building strong partnerships that bring additional resources to our community.
I also believe that good government starts with communication. My commitment is to maintain an open-door policy for residents, village employees, businesses, and community partners. By listening, working together, and communicating openly and honestly, we can make informed decisions that reflect the needs and priorities of our community. Our village is strongest when we work together, and I invite you to be part of that effort as we continue moving North Syracuse forward.
