Additions to 7/9 Village Board Meeting:

There will be two additional agenda items at tonight’s (7/9) Board Meeting – Renewal of two agreements between Village of North Syracuse and North Syracuse Central School District. One for continued use of School property at Lonergan Park & a renewal of the Village’s use of the School District’s fuel pump and wash facilities

The Village of North Syracuse shall conduct its Planning Commission Meeting on June 18, 2026 commencing at 5:30 PM and to be held at the North Syracuse Community Center at 700 South Bay Road unless otherwise specified.  This meeting is open to the public.  Further, the public is encouraged to offer its comments in writing to the Village by email communication to codes@northsyracuseny.gov no later than June 18, 2026 by 10:00 AM.  All comments will be entered into record and distributed to all board members.  Fax communications will also be accepted and may be sent to Codes Office at (315) 458-5079.  Mail comments should be sent to:  Village of North Syracuse Codes Dept., 600 South Bay Road, North  Syracuse, NY  13212.  All meetings of the Village will be recorded and later transcribed.  The transcriptions will be made available online upon review and completion as soon as possible.

Additional Information Regarding Requested Audit for Previous FYs

At the request of the Board of Trustees and specifically Deputy Mayor Robinson – We have sent out three (3) RFPs to three different CPA firms in the Upstate NY area –

Bonadio Group, which had been previously mentioned as an option, and a firm that we’ve had a working relationship with –

Also, we sent parameters for Audit Services to Insero & Company CPAs, based in Ithaca, they are extremely knowledgeable and specialize in Municipal Accounting

3rd, we sent the same parameters to Grossman St. Amour CPAs based locally. They also specialize in Municipal Audits and have performed services in other local municipalities as well.

Website Transition to .gov completed

The Village of North Syracuse website has been updated to www.northsyracuseny.gov to comply with municipal regulations. All information, and functions for the website remain the same. The .gov distinction provides a higher level of security and is subject to stricter requirements to obtain a .gov distinction
